Longer, question-led answers about iron supplements — timing, food and drink interactions, side effects, and keeping a record of ferritin results. Each guide answers one question, states what published sources actually say, and sends dosing and blood-result decisions back to your GP or pharmacist.

How these guides work

Ferruna publishes a fixed list of health authorities and peer-reviewed papers, and the app shows users that same list. These guides are held to it: every factual statement in an article is attributed to a source already on Sources, and an article may not introduce one that is not. That is the same constraint the app's AI coach lives under.

If you want short answers rather than long ones, the FAQ covers the ten questions we are asked most.

Guides

The first guides are being written. In the meantime, the FAQ answers the ten most common questions, and Sources lists everything those answers are built on.

Ferruna is an iron supplement tracker for iPhone and Apple Watch, made in Australia: reminders, streaks, absorption-timing guidance, blood test logging and a ferritin trend chart.
