Ferruna Terms of Use

By installing or using Ferruna ("the app") you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

No medical advice

Ferruna is a supplement tracker. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. The AI Coach feature generates suggestions based on general iron-absorption research and your logged patterns; it is not a substitute for advice from a registered health practitioner. Always consult your GP or a qualified healthcare provider before starting, stopping, or changing iron supplementation, especially if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, under 18, have a diagnosed medical condition, or take other medications.

Licence

You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Ferruna on Apple devices you own or control. You may not redistribute, reverse-engineer, or resell the app or its content.

Subscriptions (Ferruna Premium)

Ferruna offers an optional auto-renewing subscription that unlocks AI Coach, Ferritin Trends, Blood Test History, and removes ads. The following terms apply:

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at the price shown at purchase, in Australian dollars
• The subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in Settings → [Apple ID] → Subscriptions on your iOS device
• Any unused portion of a free trial (where offered) is forfeited when you purchase a subscription
• Prices and terms displayed in-app at the time of purchase supersede any figures shown here
• Refunds are handled by Apple under their standard App Store policy — Ferruna cannot process refunds directly

Acceptable use

You agree not to: use Ferruna for any unlawful purpose; attempt to exploit or compromise the app, its services, or third-party services it relies on; feed illegal content or spam into AI Coach; or impersonate another user in any feedback channel.

Third-party services

When AI Coach or ads are enabled, Ferruna uses Google services (Gemini API and/or Google AdMob) under their respective terms. Our App Privacy Policy describes what data flows to these services.

Limitation of liability

Ferruna is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law, we exclude all implied warranties and limit our liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of the app to the amount you paid for the app (or subscription, if applicable) in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and the courts of NSW have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be flagged in the app. Continued use after a material change means you accept the revised terms.
